You take care of everyone else. We think you deserve the same.
Care Professional jobs across Middle Tennessee, paid the same week you work it, with medical, dental and vision from a team that's been voted Provider of Choice five years running. CNA preferred. Not required.

Come work with us.
Where we're hiring right now
Two offices, two very different commutes. Pick the one that's actually close to you. You'll be driving to clients' homes, so it matters.
This is the team.
What it's like to work here
“No one should have to choose between caring for others and feeling supported themselves. Not our clients, and not our team.”
What we actually believe, and what we hire onThis is the whole team, owners included. Dan and Kathy are hands-on and local, which is why a real person answers when you need one, and why we've held a 99% shift fill rate since we opened. You'd know these people by name within a week.
Paid the same week
Tapcheck means you can get your money the week you earn it, instead of floating two weeks and hoping the math works. Or take standard bi-weekly payroll. Your call.
One person at a time
Not a floor of twenty. One client, in their home, who learns your name and looks forward to you showing up. That's the whole job.
Real benefits, free training
Medical, dental, vision, life and disability. CPR, AED and First Aid paid for by us. Overtime and holidays at time-and-a-half.
Shifts that fit your life
Days 7a-5p or overnights 7p-7a. Full time or part time. Tell us what works and we'll build around it. That's how we hold a 99% fill rate.
No CNA? Still apply.
CNA and HHA are a plus, never a wall. If you've cared for family, worked childcare, or done senior care, you already have the part we can't teach.
Care Professional, not "just a caregiver"
It's what we call the role because it's what the role is: skilled, trusted work that families build their lives around. You'll be introduced to clients that way, too.
Here's what happens next.
Applying takes about two minutes
No cover letter, and you can do the whole thing from your phone.
- Pick your role and location above. Franklin or Murfreesboro, whichever you can actually get to.
- Fill out the short application. It opens in Apploi, where we keep our hiring. Name, contact, and a little about your experience. That's the two minutes.
- Answer a few quick questions and pick your interview time. We follow up right away with a short set of questions and a link to book a slot that actually suits you. No phone tag, no waiting a week to hear back.
Ask us anything.
Straight answers
Do I need to be a CNA?
No. A CNA or HHA certification is a plus and it can affect your starting pay, but it's not required for our Care Professional roles. What we need is about a year of real care experience, whether that's senior care, personal care, home health, or childcare, plus a valid driver's license and the kind of reliability families can build their week around.
Why do you say "Care Professional" instead of "caregiver"?
Because that's what the job is. You're not a spare pair of hands. You're the trained, trusted person a family depends on to keep someone they love safe at home. We call the role what it is, and we introduce you to clients that way. Some of our listings still carry the older "Caregiver" title; it's the same role.
What does "same-week pay" actually mean?
We use Tapcheck, which lets you access your earnings the same week you work rather than waiting for the next pay cycle. If you'd rather keep it simple, standard bi-weekly payroll is still there. You choose, and you can change your mind.
How many hours can I actually get?
Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, and weekend shifts are open and needed right now. We hold a 99% shift fill rate, which is only possible because we build schedules around our Care Professionals instead of the other way around. Tell us your availability honestly and we'll work with it.
Why is the pay different between Franklin and Murfreesboro?
They're two separate offices serving two different markets, Williamson County and Rutherford County, with different client bases and cost of living. Franklin Care Professional roles start at $17-$18+/hour and Murfreesboro at $15-$16+/hour. Both include bonuses, overtime and holiday pay at time-and-a-half, and the same benefits.
Do I need my own car?
Yes. A valid driver's license is required, and you'll be driving to clients' homes and sometimes running errands or handling transportation for them. That's why we'd rather you apply to the office you can genuinely commute to.
What is the work actually like day to day?
One-on-one care in someone's home: personal care and hygiene, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, help getting around safely, and errands or transportation as needed. Overnight roles focus more on supervision, safety, repositioning, and being a calm presence through the night. You are not running a floor. You are caring for one person and getting to know them.
Who We Are
SYNERGY HomeCare of Middle Tennessee opened its doors in December 2020 and has served over 600 families across Williamson and Rutherford Counties since. We're locally owned and part of SYNERGY HomeCare, a national brand founded in 1999 with roughly 500 locations in 40 states. In practice that means the training, benefits and backing of a large organization, with owners who live twenty minutes away.
The care you'd actually be giving
Every client is different, and so is every shift. Our teams support people living with Alzheimer's and memory loss, Parkinson's, and cancer; people coming home from a hospital stay; adults living with disabilities; and people who mostly need a hand, some company and someone watching for a fall. Veterans too. You'll be trained for the care your clients need, and you'll never be handed a case you haven't been prepared for.
We live here too.
Dan and Kathy moved to Middle Tennessee to raise their family here. The people we care for are their neighbors, and yours.
Dan Root
Owner
Dan spent his career helping organizations treat employee experience as the thing that drives customer experience. That is not a slogan he picked up for home care. It is the reason this place runs the way it does: look after the people doing the work, and the care takes care of itself. He grew up in a small Michigan town and has lived in a handful of states, so he understands that home means something different to everyone.
Kathy Root
Owner
Kathy started her career as a registered nurse before moving into accounting. She grew up in a small province in the Philippines, raised by her grandmother, where caring for family came first. She has been on both sides of this: looking for care for someone she loves, and giving it. She is the reason our care team delivers what we promise.
That is the promise on our door, and it points both ways. Life keeps moving until something slows it down. Our job is to keep it moving forward, for our clients and for the people we hire to look after them. As Dan and Kathy put it: our best life is lived serving the community we call home.
We'd love to meet you.
